Frequently Asked Questions
Clear. Simple. Human.
What is Integration Maps?
Integration Maps is a personal project exploring psychology, spirituality, and inner integration from a grounded, human, and practical perspective. It brings together insights from psychotherapy, philosophy, contemplative traditions, and lived experience to help people relate more honestly to themselves and to life.
It is not a movement, a method, or a belief system.
It is a collection of maps — not a territory.
Who is this site for?
This site is for thoughtful, curious people who are:
-
interested in psychology and inner growth
-
trying to make sense of spiritual experiences
-
recovering from rigid belief systems
-
exploring psychedelics responsibly
-
looking for deeper, more human ways of living
If you enjoy reflective writing that is grounded rather than sensational, you’ll probably feel at home here.
Is this therapy?
No.
Nothing on this site is therapy, clinical treatment, or professional mental health care.
The articles and podcasts are educational and reflective in nature. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or professional psychological advice.
If you are struggling with mental health concerns, please consult a qualified therapist, doctor, or mental health professional.
Do you offer counselling or coaching?
At present, Integration Maps is primarily a writing and educational platform.
Any future one-to-one services will be clearly described separately. Until then, nothing on this site constitutes a therapeutic relationship.
Are you promoting psychedelics?
I am promoting something more specific: responsible, informed, and culturally mature engagement with psychedelics.
That means I support:
-
curiosity
-
honest conversation
-
careful research
-
therapeutic and ceremonial contexts
-
harm reduction
-
legal, ethical, and supervised use
-
thoughtful psychological integration
What I do not promote is reckless, illegal, or unsafe use.
Some content on this site discusses psychedelic experiences from a psychological and integration perspective, but:
-
This site does not provide instructions for illegal activity
-
It does not encourage unsupervised or hazardous substance use
-
It does not replace professional medical or psychological guidance
Any mention of psychedelics is intended for education, reflection, and harm-reduction — not as a call to action.
In short:
I advocate for wisdom, safety, and integration, not for experimentation without care.
Is this a religious or anti-religious site?
Neither.
Integration Maps explores spiritual and psychological themes from many perspectives — including Christian, Buddhist, secular, and scientific — without promoting any single worldview.
The aim is integration and honest inquiry, not conversion.
